Teaching Assistant
Location: Darlington
Salary: £95 – £115 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
A welcoming and supportive school in Darlington is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students in their learning and development.
The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support classroom activities and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
* Supporting students within the classroom.
* Assisting with learning activities.
* Supporting behaviour and engagement.
* Helping with classroom preparation and routines.
* Promoting a positive learning environment.
* Supporting student development and progress.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
* Have previous experience working with children or young people.
* Be patient, nurturing and enthusiastic.
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Hold a relevant qualification (desirable).
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Have a fully checkable work history.
