Job Opportunity: Qualified Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in secondary education? We are currently recruiting qualified TAs to support students across a range of secondary schools in Chorley.
Position: Teaching Assistant (Secondary School) Location: Various schools across Chorley Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students\' learning and development. You\'ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons
* Support students with varying needs, including SEN
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement
* Help with classroom management and preparation of resources
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
