We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support for a SEND pupil throughout the school day. This role is based in a supportive school environment in the Preston area and offers a long-term opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support for a SEND pupil throughout the school day
* Assist with learning, social, and emotional development
* Support classroom activities and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Work closely with teaching staff and SEND coordinators to ensure the pupil's needs are met
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEND is preferred
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Full-time availability
