Electrical Engineer

Purpose of the Role
To provide an effective engineering service to the production team, responding to demands promptly. You will maintain equipment both proactively and reactively to ensure factory performance meets targets and KPIs. The role focuses on improving equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets through identifying and implementing improvements. You will also proactively use the PPM system (SAP) for capturing all engineering labour and parts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond quickly and safely to all plant stoppages and breakdowns.
2. Maintain and adjust equipment, carrying out repairs and servicing for optimum performance.
3. Perform planned maintenance within your competence.
4. Fault-find and repair machines, working with single and three-phase electrical systems.
5. Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets product specifications.
6. Collaborate with the Engineering leadership team and external engineers for complex issues.
