Head of Account Management Location: Thurrock, RM18 Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 basic car allowance & commission Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 Job Type: Permanent Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Account Management to lead their strategic e-commerce client portfolio. This senior role is ideal for a commercially-minded professional with a proven track record in managing complex accounts, driving revenue, and leading high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and develop a team of Account Managers, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture. * Own relationships with key enterprise clients, acting as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders. * Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and retention to maximise revenue and margin. * Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial performance. * Ensure service excellence by proactively resolving issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with internal teams including operations, product, technology, and finance to deliver seamless solutions. * Monitor account performance, provide reporting, and use insights to drive continuous improvement. Experience & Skills Required: * 8–12 years’ experience in account management, customer success, or commercial leadership. * Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain. * Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, contracts, and margin management. * Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
