Are you passionate about tackling homelessness and driving real change? Torbay Council is seeking a strategic, motivated individual to lead the development and delivery of our Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.

* Shape and implement homelessness strategy across Torbay.
* Coordinate multi-agency responses and partnerships.
* Use data to drive effective, evidence-based solutions.
* Ensure lived experience informs service design.

Essential:
* Ability to use negotiation and influencing skills.
* Ability to analyse and present information clearly, along with presenting complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.
* Ability to identify and solve complex problems in a practical way.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Knowledge
Essential:
* Knowledge of the range of support services and accommodation for homeless households.
* To have knowledge of what good practice is and how you would develop strategies, policies and plans in relation to current local and national issues.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to degree level or the equivalent experience and knowledge of strategic planning, housing delivery, improving existing housing and homelessness prevention within a local housing authority.
