Job Title: Test Systems Team Leader
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: Up to £58,000 depending on skills and experience

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team in developing test equipment solutions that support the complex and demanding requirements of military products. Test solutions are multifaceted and versatile, using model-based engineering approaches to provide innovative equipment across the customer base.
* Be part of a diverse and growing team where ideas and development are encouraged; opportunities to direct ladder or sidestep into other areas of the BAE Systems organisation. Manage the complete development lifecycle within challenging timescales to support customer requirements.
* Support the drive to innovative test solutions, maximizing automation.
* Champion team performance and development.
* Manage schedule adherence and cost control.
* Full engineering lifecycle, risk and opportunity management.
* Lead stakeholder project reviews.
* Support across the bid lifecycle.
* Pro-active sub-contractor management.
Your Skills And Experiences
* Proven experience of working in an engineering environment.
* Experience in leading test solutions or in a similar engineering discipline.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent working experience.
* Proven team leader or management background.
* Solutions provider with a thinking-outside-the-box approach.

The Electronic Systems Team: As a Test Systems Team Leader, you will work as part of an integrated project team developing innovative Test Equipment solutions using the latest technology, welcoming new ideas and approaches to support the program, repairs and aftermarket service.
