We are looking for a Medical Communities Head Neurodegeneration who is passionate, agile, and innovative to join us in our patient evidence organisation, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium; in Slough, UK or in Atlanta, US.
About the role You will be leading the medical sub team of the Asset Team and develop the global medical strategy for one of our most critical assets in the area of neurodegeneration.
Who you’ll work with You will be a member of the Global Asset Team. As part of his role on the Asset Team, you will contribute to advising and shaping the global asset strategy. You will collaborate with senior leaders across research, development, commercial, and access functions and your work will bridge global strategy with regional execution to maximize patient value and business impact.
What you’ll do
1. Lead the development and execution of the medical strategy for our neurodegeneration asset.
2. Develop an efficient engagement strategy with key opinion leaders and other relevant external stakeholders
3. Generation and sharing of key medical insights
4. Define the medical education and publication strategy
5. Oversee asset strategic alignment of medical projects and build strategic partnerships
6. Deliver the overall Integrated Evidence Generation Plan for the asset
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clinical development and commercialization efforts.
8. Represent the asset and the company at medical conferences and industry events.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
9. Scientific background with Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent.
10. Significant experience in medical affairs or related field, ideally including experience in the area of neurodegeneration.
11. Good understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
12. Strong strategic decision-making and risk management skills
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities and leadership skills
14. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
