Position: Chef de Partie
You will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavorful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You should possess excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills, along with a passion for food and service, and enthusiasm.
* Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations.
* Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and seasonal ingredients.
* Oversee stock control and ordering to maintain inventory levels and minimize waste.
* Collaborate on special events, themed dinners, and culinary initiatives.
* Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment following health and safety regulations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredients to enhance menu offerings and dining experiences.
* Demonstrate leadership, effective communication, and teamwork to foster a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role within contract catering or educational institutions preferred.
* Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Enthusiastic, organized, team-oriented, and flexible.
