Key Responsibilities1. Requirements Elicitation & AnalysisLead workshops with product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional requirements.Translate high‑level business needs into detailed system‑level specifications for integrations and platform capabilities.Define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are testable, measurable, and traceable.2. Integration AnalysisAnalyse upstream and downstream system interactions, data flows, and event triggers to ensure coherent end‑to‑end integration design.Produce integration specifications including interface definitions, data mappings, transformation logic, and error‑handling rules.Understand and document API behaviours, payload structures (REST/JSON/XML), authentication mechanisms, and versioning requirements.Collaborate closely with solution architects to ensure alignment with enterprise integration strategies and patterns.3. Non‑Functional Requirements (NFR) DefinitionDefine and shape NFRs across domains such as: Performance & ThroughputScalability & CapacitySecurity & ComplianceReliability, Availability & ResilienceObservability (logging, monitoring, tracing)Maintainability & SupportabilityDisaster Recovery & Business ContinuityWork with engineering and architecture teams to ensure NFRs are realistically scoped, measurable, and built into design and delivery plans.4. Documentation & ModellingCreate high‑quality artefacts including: Process flows (BPMN/UML)System interaction diagramsData flow diagrams (DFDs)NFR catalogues and traceability matricesMaintain clear documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
