Responsibilities
1. Carry out fire risk assessments (PAS 79) across housing schemes, including high-risk sites
2. Review third-party fire risk assessments and maintain compliance records
3. Ensure actions from assessments are prioritised and completed
4. Liaise with Fire Authorities, Local Authorities, consultants, and contractors
5. Support incident investigations and produce learning outcomes
6. Deliver fire safety training and awareness sessions
7. Provide reports and updates to internal governance groups
8. Support development of fire safety policies and procedures
Requirements
9. Minimum 2+ years? experience in fire risk assessments and reporting
10. Strong knowledge of fire safety in a housing environment
11. Understanding of fire safety legislation and enforcement frameworks
12. Experience working with PAS 79
13. Fire Risk Assessment qualification (IFE or equivalent) - essential/desirable depending on profile
14. NEBOSH Certificate - desirable
15. Strong report writing and communication skills
16. Competent with MS Word and Excel
