Service Delivery Manager

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm
Role
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our day‑to‑day responsive team based in Glasgow. As Service Delivery Manager you will supervise sites across Glasgow and West Scotland, managing up to 15 operatives covering joinery, plastering and painting. You will need to have a trade background in joinery with relevant qualifications. Your daily activities will include coordinating the operatives on repairs/installation, organising the team to work on all stock across the region and reacting to and dealing with emergencies as they arise. A company van will be provided and opportunities to develop your career within Sanctuary will be available.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee repairs and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
* Inspect completed work to ensure it represents value for money, e.g. efficient use of materials
* Maintain compliance for health and safety, promoting and ensuring adherence
* Handle complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
* Complete absence management, performance management, recruitment and team meetings
* Work with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed efficiently
Skills and experiences
* Qualified to SVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, ILM membership or currently undertaking the qualification (must bring original certification at interview, CSCS cards not accepted)
* Recent experience in a similar role, preferably within building maintenance or facilities management
* Working knowledge of the application of health and safety legislation
* Proven experience of meeting deadlines and prioritising workloads
* Basic user of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
* Must hold a full valid UK driving licence for company vehicle duties
