Your Missions
We are seeking a Subcontract Manager to join our team at the Hinkley Point C project. This role offers a dynamic environment where each day presents new challenges and opportunities.
As a Subcontract Manager, you will collaborate within a team of Subcontract Managers to support the management of tier 2 subcontractors and other Framatome subcontractors.
You will work under the guidance of the Installation Subcontract Manager to ensure the successful execution of subcontractors' scopes of work.
Your responsibilities include managing key scope areas such as electrical installation, insulation, and mechanical work, overseeing contractual and commercial relationships. You will lead various contract types (T&M, Lump Sum), handle change management through variation processes, event forms, and other contractual and commercial topics, as well as reporting.
Responsibilities
* Manage the smooth execution of subcontractors' work.
* Collaborate with Work Package Managers to update delivery timelines.
* Conduct regular follow-up meetings according to subcontractor management procedures.
* Communicate with subcontractors, manage variations, and ensure timely submission of EWNs and other notifications.
* Identify and resolve issues affecting subcontractors' contractual obligations.
* Support the site team in contractual matters, notices, and remedies to minimise liabilities.
* Monitor subcontractor costs, invoicing, and financial status; support payment applications.
* Manage subcontractor correspondence to ensure contractual compliance.
* Maintain registers for contractual matters such as notifications, correspondence, and risks.
* Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure compliance.

* Experienced in a similar role.
* A team player with strong communication skills.
* Able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
* Good at time management and organisational skills.
