The Role
We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Content & Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys content creation, has an eye for design, and is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, values-led business.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in content development, social media strategy, and visual communication— while working collaboratively with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Create graphics and visuals for social media using Canva and/or Figma
* Design basic marketing materials in line with brand guidelines
* Write and edit captions, short-form posts, and occasional blog content
* Proofread content for grammar, clarity, and tone
* Schedule and publish posts via tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
* Track and report on basic engagement metrics
* Maintain the content calendar and contribute to content planning
* Conduct trend and competitor research to inform content ideas
* Support campaign planning and execution with the wider marketing team
* Develop a deep understanding of our services and values to ensure consistent messaging
What We’re Looking For
* Foundational experience with Canva or Figma (from university, freelance, or personal projects)
* Strong written communication skills and creative writing ability
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Eagerness to learn, grow, and take initiative
* Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok from a marketing perspective
* Experience using scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
* A portfolio of visual and/or written content (personal, academic, or freelance)
About You – Skills and Qualities
* Experience in content creation, copywriting, or social media management (entry-level welcome)
* Proficiency in Canva, Figma, or similar design platforms
* Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and layout
* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
* Passionate about digital marketing, content trends, and creative storytelling
