Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated HLTA to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the OL1 area this September.
As an HLTA, you'll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education, providing tailored support to individual students and groups, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and contributing to the wider school community. You'll work closely with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils, including those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide targeted support for students with SEN and additional needs.
* Reinforce learning in small groups or one-on-one settings.
* Support students' emotional and social development.
* Help maintain a positive and effective classroom environment.
* Assist with assessments and maintain accurate records.
* Collaborate with staff to support student progress and achievement.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning.
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
* Experience in a primary school, ideally in a HLTA role.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN support.
* Positive, empathetic approach to supporting diverse student needs.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Commitment to student well-being and safeguarding.
* Passion for making a difference in children's education.
