Care Assistant – Bracknell
Location: Crowthorne
Salary: £13.10 - £18.00
Hours: Part time or Full Time
Our Care Assistants have the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives, both at home and supporting them in the community. This role varies from day to day, helping the more vulnerable in our society and providing a sense of satisfaction that is difficult to match.
Responsibilities
* Meet the support requirements of customers in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. Travel to the customer’s home and assist with daily tasks as set out in the Care Plan.
* Provide support that is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family, e.g., help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.
* Assist with tasks such as:
o Shopping & meal preparation
o Prompting with medication
o Support with daily routines
o Respite services
o Socialising and leisure activities
o Helping customers access the community
About you / Qualifications
* Willingness to travel to customers’ homes and provide support as per Care Plans.
* Full training and induction provided; opportunities for ongoing training, development and supervision.
* Flexibility to work around client needs and a commitment to promoting independence.
