A Graduate Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time long term Graduate Mentor position, with scope to go permanent.
Working days and hours for this Graduate Mentor post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities for this Graduate Mentor role will include but not be limited to:
5. Acting as a mentor for vulnerable students through effective role modelling, forming positive relationships and utilising creative approaches which provide them with the skills to be successful and happy
6. Providing targeted interventions and support to students within the key stage and contribute to the raising standards agenda
7. Encouraging and enabling students to become independent and resilient learners by providing one to one and small group coaching in academic related skills, wellbeing & self-management and emotional literacy
The rates of pay for this Graduate Mentor position will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.
It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

9. Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
10. UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
11. Experience of working with children/young people from the ages of 11 to 18 or as a Graduate Mentor in UK schools
