Job Description
Role Purpose
Ensure all construction activities meet the highest quality standards by working closely with the project team and client throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage all QA/QC documentation (tests, inspections, certifications, reports)
* Set and maintain inspection and testing standards across all processes
* Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality requirements
* Coordinate with procurement and project teams on material quality
* Oversee inspection and testing schedules and conduct quality audits
* Support training to ensure compliance with quality procedures
* Monitor handling, storage, and lifting processes, including hazardous materials
* Analyse non-conformances and prepare performance reports
* Implement systems to monitor and improve quality across all activities
* Recommend corrective actions where needed
* Collaborate with H&S teams on risk assessments and method statements
* Develop Inspection Test Plans and checklists
* Liaise with client teams on audits, inspections, and material approvals
* Candidate Profile
o Degree in Engineering or related field
o Minimum 3 years’ construction/engineering experience ideally in Civil/CSA quality
o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
o Ability to work in cross-functional teams
o Excellent organisation and time management
o Proficient IT skills
o Knowledge of building and quality regulations
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
