We require an organised Yardman Driver with basic mechanical knowledge to join our site in Reading.
Your main role will be to create and maintain a safe and organised structure in the workshop / vehicle park. You will be expected to assist movement of the vehicles around the site whilst ensuring a safe environment is always upheld.
This position would be perfect if you are looking to come away from mechanics / the tools.
Other responsibilities include, but not limited to;
* Gathering information e.g mileage and service data
* See vehicles in
* Close working relationship with technicians
* Preparing vehicles to come into the workshop
* General tidiness of the yard
* Make sure vehicles are parked and organised
* Load and unload vehicles for MOT
* Collect and deliver in local area
* Assist with general housekeeping within the workshop
Skills and experience needed:
* Hold a current LGV licence
* Excellent customer service skills
* Forklift licence
* Current tacho card
