This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys assembly, testing, and problem-solving in a high-quality manufacturing environment.What's on Offer?37-hour working weekMonday to Thursday: 8:30am 4:30pmFriday: 8:30am 4:00pmFlexible working hours available25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays5% employer pension contributionPrivate healthcareLife insurance worth 2x your annual salaryExcellent overtime rates: Time and a half Monday to SaturdayDouble time on SundaysOvertime paid after 37 hours workedThe RoleAs a Mechanical Technician, you'll be involved in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of advanced mechanical and hydraulic equipment used in demanding subsea environments.Key responsibilities include:Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and complete assembliesMechanical assembly and load testing of subsea productsManufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipeworkPressure testing, setup, and functional testing of a wide range of tooling and assembliesWorking closely with other departments to ensure quality standards and project deadlines are achievedCompleting all relevant documentation, including quality records, timesheets, NCRs, and ECNsAbout YouWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:A background in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenanceExperience as an automotive mechanic, vehicle technician, or similar hands-on engineering roleA solid understanding of mechanical engineering practices and assembly techniquesCompleted a mechanical apprenticeship or have equivalent shop-floor engineering experienceA strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detailIf you're looking to join a growing engineering business where your skills are valued and rewarded, we'd love to hear from you.COG Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
