As a member of the Commercial and Contract Management Team, within the Asset Management Division, you will fulfil the Quantity Surveyor function, responsible for assessing and scrutinising our supply chains costs across a range of construction and maintenance projects, seeking to ensure costs are fair, reasonable and representative of the works entailed and when compared to sector benchmarks We have embarked on a change journey to become a high performing social landlord. As a Quantity Surveyor within the team, you will provide expert knowledge and advice to enable the Council to deliver the Quantity Surveyor function to the Councils Asset Management Division, focused on repairs & maintenance, compliance, building safety and planned maintenance services and capital works, including major construction projects. You will play a pivotal part in the design, specification, cost and programme planning and onsite evaluation of works and measures undertaken by our construction partners in relation of major construction projects. You will provide accurate and timely financial information to meet the needs of Asset Management Division and a costs auditing facility.
