Sastra Group is working with a Series A Software Development vendor who is changing the Martech space.
One of their key hires is a VP of Sales. The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving new business, and growth by strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in Sales Leadership within the software development and marketing technology sectors.
This position is Hybrid and requires you to be in the London office.
Responsibilities
* Own the entire sales function, from strategy to execution, managing and expanding a team of Account Executives, SDRs, and Regional Managers.
* Develop and execute scalable sales plans to achieve company revenue goals across new business and upsell/cross-sell motions.
* Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, enablement, and recruitment.
* Define sales KPIs, forecasting models, and reporting standards using CRM and sales automation tools.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, campaigns, and product positioning.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor moves to inform pricing, packaging, and value propositions.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in selling & leading sales teams in SaaS products and services.
* Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding a team sales quota of £1 million or more.
* Experience in building a sales territory/team from the ground up.
* Proven ability in self-prospecting and generating top-of-funnel leads.
* Experience in working with start-ups or scale-ups is highly desirable.
