At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our Belfast office.
Here’s what you’ll do:
AECOM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Belfast team. This role will focus on delivering complex, high-profile projects across the residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and supporting the strategic growth of our electrical engineering practice in Northern Ireland.
We work across a diverse range of sectors, including healthcare, data centres, commercial, hospitality, education, and civic projects, serving both public and private clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver the technical aspects of projects or defined work packages, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Manage the technical delivery of projects, from interpreting client briefs to coordinating designs with other disciplines.
* Lead and support engineers and technicians, ensuring deliverables align with project schedules and requirements.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
* Ensure all work and design solutions comply with health and safety standards and company quality assurance procedures.
* Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their professional development and career progression within the organisation.
Qualifications

We are looking for a driven and experienced professional with a strong background in eletrical engineering.As the successful candidate, you will have:
* Degree in Electrical Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, working towards chartered status
* Experience mostly of which will have been gained in design within a consultancy environment
* In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
* Experience in small to medium-sized projects
* Revit proficient
* Be familiar with BIM standards and BIM project delivery
