About the Role
Turner & Townsend’s Digital Advisory business is growing and building capability to meet our 2030 Strategy. We are seeking experienced SC Cleared Digital Advisory Consulting Managers with a proven track record, specialising in either Asset Intensive Industries, Built Environment, Energy and Natural Resources or Defence. Knowledge of PMIS systems, ERP systems and agile tooling is advantageous. The role is focused on proactive, driven individuals who have an appetite and capability in the following areas.
- Service delivery excellence: Transformation Management, Digital Strategy & Insights, Technology Advisory, or Enterprise Architecture.
- Business generation capability: Bid management/writing, proposal development, lead generation.
- People & Operations: People management, coaching, mentorship and training.
- Service development: Digital Strategy productisation, playbook development, insights and benchmarking database management.
The team offers a wide range of commissions covering the UK. Candidates would be expected to travel up to 2‑3 days per week supporting the delivery of commissions. As a global business we deliver projects anywhere in the world for our global client base; future flexibility would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements in Digital Strategy & Insights, Technology Advisory, Transformation Management, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Define and implement digital roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
- Ensure delivery quality, client satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive lead generation and identify new opportunities within target sectors.
- Manage bid writing, proposal development and client presentations according to best practice.
- Build strong client relationships to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
- Manage and develop a team of consultants, providing coaching, mentorship and training.
- Support resource planning and operational efficiency within the digital advisory practice.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Contribute to digital strategy productisation and development of playbooks.
- Maintain and enhance insights and benchmarking databases to support client engagements.
- Innovate and refine service offerings to meet evolving market needs.
- Provide Digital & Technology Strategy expertise and support development of new commercial service opportunities.
- Engage with clients, lead workshops, assess process improvement, and model requirements for technical solutions.
- Analyze business and industry data using analytics tools.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Existing SC Clearance.
- Proven experience in asset‑intensive industries, built environment, energy & natural resources or defence sectors.
- Strong knowledge of PMIS, ERP, Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, SharePoint, MS Projects, and agile/Waterfall project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to embed into varied client environments.
- Experience leading workshops, process modelling, and requirements lifecycle.
- Business analysis qualifications such as BCS or IIBA are desirable.
- Degree in an analytic subject or MBA is advantageous.
Scope
Consultants will work within the Digital Consulting team and may also operate within wider Turner & Townsend project teams from other business units. They will support a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions.
Deliver high‑impact digital transformation programmes across Energy & Natural Resources, Defence, Infrastructure and Government.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital strategy, technology adoption, and enterprise architecture.
Contribute to business growth through proactive lead generation, bid management and proposal development.
Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable.
