Job Title: Learning Support Mentor

Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help students develop study skills and strategies
* Support classroom teachers in adapting curriculum materials for students with special needs
* Monitor and track student progress
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
Education:
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in special education
Preferred Qualifications:
* Teaching Assistant qualification
* Training in specific learning disabilities
Working Conditions:
* Work within a school setting
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviours
* Collaboration with teaching staff and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
