HGV TechnicianPermanent | 45 hrs (6:00–18:00 / 7:00-19:00) |Front-Line Fleet Maintenance£42,000 salary Weston-Super-Mare WorkshopJoin a leading front-line services provider as a HGV Technician, maintaining HGV fleets at a well-equipped workshop in Weston-Super-Mare. Ideal for an apprenticeship-trained or time-served engineer with strong diagnostics, servicing, and repair experience across commercial vehicles.The HGV Technician Role
* Service, repair, and maintain vehicles to DVSA/manufacturer standards
* Diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
* Prep vehicles for MOT and complete all service documentation
* Respond to breakdowns and support off-site recovery
* Mentor apprentices and promote safe working practices
* Carry out preventative maintenance and keep accurate records
What You Need As a Successful HGV Technician
* HGV qualifications Parts 1–3 or equivalent
* Proven commercial vehicle maintenance experience
* Strong electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge
* Able to work independently in a physically demanding role
* HGV Class 2 licence desirable
