Location: Midway, Swadlincote
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum + performance bonus up to £4,800
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm + on-call
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management + Full UK Driving Licence
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our 4-bed Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) service. You will create a safe, nurturing, therapeutic home where children feel valued, supported and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management of the home and its staff team.
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding and regulatory standards.
* Develop personalised care plans with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach.
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and external partners.
* Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing staff team.
* Manage budgets, staffing levels, reporting and placement stability.
* Deliver a culture where children feel safe, cared for and listened to.
* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Requirements
About You
* Level 5 Management Diploma (or working towards).
* Strong experience managing EBD children’s services.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and resilience skills.
* Ability to inspire teams and drive a positive home culture.
