Main Accountabilities:
1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreement between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, environment (HSE), and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety considerations throughout the project and is empowered to suspend activities in case of violations.
5. Equipment handling and logistics: Ensures correct handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery.
6. Sub-contractors: Manages subcontractors on site to ensure quality and progress meet standards and delivery dates.
7. Site cost management: Controls project costs, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final costs. Manages petty cash and local purchasing within delegated authority.
8. Documentation: Ensures all documentation is updated and maintained, using the latest revisions for construction work.
9. People leadership and development: Organizes, staffs, and directs the area of responsibility. Guides, motivates, and develops team members, and manages local site facilities and logistics.
Summary:
Supervises a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work coordination and performance reviews. Candidates should have several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with strong knowledge in Site Management, HSE, Environment, QA/QC, Installation, and basic understanding of Commissioning and Civil Works.
