Job Title: 3rd Line IT Helpdesk Engineer
Reports to: IT Helpdesk Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Bournemouth

This senior role is the final escalation point for complex IT-related issues and plays a crucial part in the maintenance, development, and implementation of our core infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our servers, networks, and key systems, ensuring the highest levels of performance and security. This position offers the opportunity to lead on substantial infrastructure upgrades and the assessment of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the final escalation point for the IT helpdesk, resolving complex technical issues escalated from 1st and 2nd line support.
* Managing and maintain the Windows Server 2016 domain environment and above.
* Administering and supporting Linux based systems.
* Taking responsibility for the diagnosis and resolution of system service issues.
* Participating in and leading a variety of IT projects, including significant infrastructure upgrades and the introduction of new technologies.
* Collaborating with the wider technology team on the development of innovative solutions that advance the business.
* Administering key systems including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, our CRM, and phone systems.
What Makes You Our Perfect Match?
* Proven experience working in a senior IT support or infrastructure role.
* Exceptional understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environments (2016 and above) and Active Directory.
* Some experience with Linux Server Management.
* Proficiency in administering Microsoft Exchange and/or Exchange Online.
* A solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
* Excellent problem-solving mindset with a logical and proactive approach to technical challenges.
* Strong communication skills, enabling you to convey technical information clearly to those without a technical background.
* Time management is one of your strengths, allowing you to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* You have a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with new systems and technologies
