Support Worker Are you a passionate Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work in a service based in Leicestershire Pay Rates: £13.47 per hour Information the Role: Successful candidates will be offered 18.5 hours per week, usually over 3 shifts. Afternoon shifts can start from 1pm, running up until 10pm and early shifts start from 7:30am. It is required candidates are able to work alternative weekends. What you will be doing: To follow the care plans of the individual. Support with domestic tasks. – Cleaning of the individuals flats, ironing, preparing snacks, cooking evening meals. Supporting tenants with shopping and paying bills. Preparation for the following day with tasks like packed lunches/ironed clothes. Complete all records for the tenant. This will be daily contact notes, accident/incident forms/ABC/ Follow the advice of the CSTL and support workers. Not to use mobile phones. Moving and handling and using the right techniques. To have respect for the individuals flats and their belongings. Preparing and cooking meals and snacks. Using fresh food in the flats that have this. Spending the allocated times with the service users and engaging with them following the plans. Support cleaning with the tenants and making their own meals where suitable. Following the care needs of the tenant and following their reasonable requests. Reporting any concerns to the appropriate person. Skills & Professional Characteristics needed: Soft and kind nature. Having a good understanding of adults with Learning difficulties and mental health. Clear and legible handwriting.
