We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team in Derby.
This role will play a leading role in partnering with the GBS service area leadership teams to help drive performance management of our operating cost targets. The two principal teams this role supports are: Group Property (scope covers £22m annual operating costs, land sales ~£4m p/a, IFRS16 leases including Arval cars ~£50m, and managed spend of £320m); and Indirect Procurement (scope covers £20m operating costs, annual indirect spend of £2bn over 1000+ vendors).

What You Will Be Doing
* Support the GBS service line teams and Indirect Procurement to drive cost optimisation and tangible YOY savings. This includes cost analysis of the GBS financials to provide insight to drive action.
* Manage the financials of the business to meet financial commitments. Ensure budgets and forecasts are translated into business plans; work proactively to ensure performance and achievement of targets.
* Provide financial insight into the Procurement sourcing process, including supplier financial performance analysis and payment terms, as well as reporting prompt payment performance.
* Collaborate with site services and procurement leadership teams to develop innovative solutions on new ways of working, sustainability, and optimizing relationships with suppliers or service providers.
* Support user experience business cases through the Investment Committee, providing reports, assessments, or presentations as required, and deputise for the GBS Finance Business Partner.
Who We're Looking For

* A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly understand issues and identify solutions
* Ability to prioritize and work independently
* Effective communication skills to work globally, considering language and cultural differences, develop relationships, and influence stakeholders
* Collaborative approach with senior stakeholders and SMEs
* Hands-on knowledge of systems such as SAP, HFM, and Coupa
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
