The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale, high-profile project in the Bristol area as part of a growing team of Electrical Engineers. The role offers the chance to work on complex installations within a highly regulated environment, where your technical expertise and practical experience will directly influence project delivery. You’ll be collaborating with a range of stakeholders, helping to shape the successful completion of one of the UK’s most significant engineering programmes. Your duties and responsibilities will be: We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with strong onsite installation backgrounds. Ideal candidates will: Have practical onsite installation experience. Understand construction sequencing of mechanical and/or electrical installation. Be confident in reading and interpreting construction drawings / BIM models. Have the ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders. Ideally, have progressed from hands-on trade roles into supervisor or site management positions, bringing deep practical knowledge to projects. You will have the following qualifications & experience: Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering discipline. Proven experience in onsite electrical systems installation. Track record of progression from hands-on trade roles into supervisory or management positions (advantageous). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / BIM models. Strong knowledge of the construction / installation industry. Understanding of construction sequencing of electrical and mechanical installations. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including CDM and Nuclear Site Licence requirements. Ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, particularly in site environments. Proactive, independent working style with strong reporting and escalation skills.
