As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, championing the health and wellbeing of a diverse workforce. This isn’t just a clinical position; it’s an opportunity to lead proactive health initiatives, reduce absenteeism, and ensure compliance with health legislation.
This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 10 am - 6 pm) based at our Wolverhampton/West Bromwich site. We also offer hybrid working patterns to provide you with the flexibility you need to thrive!
What You'll Do
As a key member of our team, you will:
* Conduct health assessments for confined space workers, forklift drivers, night shift employees, and food handlers.
* Support long-term sick leave cases with home visits and return-to-work planning.
* Advise on legal compliance, workplace adjustments, and preventative healthcare strategies.
* Train and update first aiders to ensure site readiness.
* Lead health campaigns that enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
* Collaborate with managers on risk assessments for new and expectant mothers.
About You
You are a qualified Occupational Health professional with a passion for preventative care and a proactive mindset. You thrive in delivering assessments, advising on legislation, and supporting long-term health strategies.
