Product Marketing & Propositions Director (Contract – Inside IR35) London, UK-based | Hybrid / 3 days onsite | 6-month contract We’re looking for a heavyweight Product Marketing & Propositions Director to build and embed better ways of working between Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams. This is not about keeping the lights on — it’s about creating clarity where there’s chaos. You’ll define the operating model between Product and Product Marketing, codify how propositions are developed, and make sure every product has a clear, differentiated value story before it ever reaches market. Think structure, storytelling, and stakeholder muscle. You’ll be doing things like: Designing and embedding the Product–Marketing operating model Creating frameworks for proposition definition, value mapping, and messaging Driving alignment across Product, Marketing, and GTM teams Translating complex capabilities into clear customer value Coaching teams to think “proposition first” not “feature first” You’ll bring: 10 years in product marketing or proposition leadership Proven experience building operating models or frameworks Strong cross-functional influence — can stick elbows out, but with finesse Strategic clarity and executional pace The ability to make complexity simple Why this matters You’ll be the person who makes product truth meet market reality — defining how a business tells its story from the inside out.
