Excellent permanent and full-time opportunity within our storage and distribution company, Bartholomews Specialist Distribution Ltd.
The role will be supervising a small team to manage the goods in/out process at the warehouse over the Twilight shift. This will include handling orders as well as using a fork-lift truck to complete tasks and working diligently to ensure all tasks are carried out correctly, to deadline and ready for a smooth handover to next on-shift team.
Main Duties to Include:
Empty arriving goods containers/freight vehicles, moving goods carefully into warehouse racking by forklift truck and by hand.
Pick and pack outgoing orders, loading outgoing deliveries onto freight vehicles by forklift truck and by hand.
Liaise with the office team, colleagues and vehicle drivers to make sure orders are checked on collection.
Ensure the careful packing of products and accurate picking of orders to meet our customers deadlines.
Work to a smooth hand-over to the next team on shift.
