The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join the firm’s busy Dispute Resolution team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of a permanent position at the end of the term.
The successful candidate will primarily handle civil property disputes, including matters such as :
* Boundary and ownership disputes
* Rights of way and easement issues
* Landlord and tenant disputes (residential and commercial)
* Trespass and nuisance claims
* Contractual and general civil litigation matters
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of property-related disputes from instruction through to resolution
* Advising clients on litigation strategy and alternative dispute resolution options
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents
* Conducting negotiations and representing clients in mediation or court proceedings
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments and providing support where required
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (ideally 2+ years PQE, though all levels considered)
* Strong experience in civil and property litigation
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload efficiently
* Team-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded
