Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and deliver nuclear projects from initiation through closeout in accordance with applicable international nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant national regulatory authorities, government directives (as applicable), and recognized workplace, quality, and safety standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, ANSI, and nuclear quality assurance frameworks).
* Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with project objectives, licensing requirements, and safety expectations.
* Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for complex, highly regulated projects.
* Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation, and status updates for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
* Lead project meetings and clearly communicate progress, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Nuclear Engineering/Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* 5+ years of project management experience in nuclear energy, nuclear construction, government nuclear programmes, or similarly regulated industries.
* Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks, quality assurance/quality control programmes, and nuclear safety principles.
* Proven ability to manage large, complex projects in highly regulated environments and work effectively with regulatory authorities and multiple stakeholders.
