Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary Location: Edinburgh Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Type: Full-time, permanent An established and well-regarded legal practice is looking to add a Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to its busy property team. This is a hands-on role supporting fee earners across the full residential conveyancing process. The Role You’ll play a key part in the smooth running of residential property transactions, managing files from instruction through to completion and post-completion. Key responsibilities include: Supporting residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases and remortgages Preparing and submitting LBTT returns accurately and within deadlines Managing correspondence Audio typing of legal dictation and documentation Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders General file management and administrative support to the team About You To be considered, you’ll ideally have: Proven experience in residential conveyancing within a Scottish legal environment Hands-on experience completing LBTT forms Strong audio typing skills with high accuracy Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communication skills and a proactive approach Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines What’s on Offer Competitive salary reflective of experience Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work with an established conveyancing practice Long-term career stability and development
