Overview
Registered Nurse (RMN) – Birmingham, West Midlands. £16.68 per hour. Private Mental Health Provider, Highgate, Birmingham. The role involves working in a high dependency unit, with 157.5 hours every 4 weeks. Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. You will be part of a full multidisciplinary team including external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care to individuals seeking support on their journey towards community integration.
* Empower service users and help them realise their full potential through progressive improvements in their quality of life and a steady progression towards recovery, culminating in successful discharge.
* Your role will involve providing quality, evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care to individuals with complex, severe, and enduring mental health needs, in a multidisciplinary setting.
* Establish therapeutic relationships with service users and implement evidence-based interventions.
* Provide leadership to the ward by taking turns to be the nurse in charge and promoting effective team working.
* Formulate and review care plans, risk assessments and relevant assessments.
* Represent the nursing team in multidisciplinary meetings.
* Promote an inclusive and positive culture aligned with the company values and policies.
* Participate in audits, care reviews and identify areas for quality improvements.
* Ensure safeguarding duties are upheld at all times.
Requirements
* Be flexible to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
* Passion for working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses.
