The service is rated Good in all areas by CQC (October 2022) and is scored 9.5/10 on carehome.co.uk. The home is currently operating with no agency use, which says a lot about the stability and commitment already in place. Occupancy is currently around 71% (54 residents). The foundations are strong, but there’s clear headroom to improve performance and strengthen an already positive reputation. The opportunity We’re looking for a Care Home Manager to build on solid foundations and move the service from good to great strengthening culture and growing occupancy in a sustainable way. Over the next 12 to 24 months your priorities will be to: Drive quality improvements and strengthen an already positive CQC position. Grow occupancy sustainably, without compromising quality. Continue to develop a values-led culture across the home. Your job is to make sure things are well run and consistent without losing the homely, person-centred feel. Why La Fontana? About you This role would suit an experienced Home Manager who enjoys leading through others bringing calm and clarity, while keeping people at the centre of decisions. Ideally you will have: Experience managing a large nursing home (ideally 50 beds). A track record in service improvement strengthening culture, quality and performance. A strong CQC track record, with sound governance and compliance practices. Commercial awareness, including occupancy growth and budget management. You may be a nurse-qualified manager or you may not. What matters most is your leadership your ability to develop others and bring people with you.
