Position: Garage Supervisor.
Location: Wolstenholme Funeral Directors, Accrington.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Salary: £28,205 per annum
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Wolstneholme Funeral Directors as a Garage Supervisor. You will ensures exceptional client service, operational efficiency, and dignified care for the deceased across designated back of house facilities. Leading and supporting back of house staff, including Funeral Service Operatives and Embalmers.

The Role
As a Garage Supervisor you'll be responsible for the care of the deceased, upholding strict regulatory, health and safety, and quality assurance standards. You'll manage a team dedicated to this sensitive and essential work, ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: Motivate, support, and develop back of house staff fostering a positive work environment and a culture of high performance.
Oversee operations across branches ensuring seamless diary management, workforce planning, stock control, fleet utilisation, and procurement.
Uphold the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect, ensuring strict adherence to identification protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure all fleet operations adhere to licensing regulations, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure vehicles and resources are managed effectively for seamless operations.
Monitor key performance indicators and use insights to enhance service delivery.
About you
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced leader who understands the importance of delivering exceptional service in a highly sensitive environment. Ideal candidates will bring: The ability to provide care and sensitivity to families while upholding the dignity of the deceased.
Experience in resource planning, fleet management, or similar operational roles is an advantage.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Holds a Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and on-call duties as required
