This is a high-profile position where professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential. You’ll work closely with the Security Manager, covering a variety of shifts including nights and late events, while maintaining the highest corporate standards. Your main responsibilities will include safeguarding people, preventing damage to property, and protecting client products, all in line with agreed assignment instructions, operating procedures, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Access Control & Intruder Prevention:Monitor and control site access, issue ID cards, operate CCTV, perform searches, and prevent unauthorised entry. Safety & Emergency Response:Ensure the safety of staff and visitors, respond to alarms, emergencies, fire incidents, and provide first aid when required. Property & Asset Protection:Protect property from damage, prevent theft, monitor product tagging systems, and secure events and high-risk areas. Customer Service & Professionalism:Greet and assist visitors professionally, manage complaints calmly, maintain excellent grooming and punctuality, and deliver world-class service. Reporting & Compliance:Maintain accurate records, compile incident reports and witness statements, ensure GDPR compliance, and support internal/external audits. Teamwork & Operational Support:Work closely with the Security Manager and site team, assist with inductions, contractor management, deliveries, and follow SOPs and risk assessments. What We’re Looking For: Licences & Certification:Hold a valid DS SIA licence, CCTV SIA licence (or willing to train), and EFAW/FAW first aid certificate. Experience & Knowledge:Previous security experience in high-end retail or events venues with strong knowledge of security techniques. Emergency Response:Able to respond swiftly to emergencies and remain calm under pressure. Communication & Reporting:Good written and spoken English, with ability to produce detailed incident reports. Customer Service & Awareness:Excellent customer service skills and situational awareness. Professionalism & Stamina:Smart appearance, flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and able to stand for long hours.
