Head of English
Start date: September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR2a (£3,526 per annum)
We are seeking to appoint an experienced leader who can develop and embed a coherent, ambitious curriculum, ensuring that students not only achieve strong outcomes but also develop a genuine love of English.
You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and a leader who understands the power of great teaching, consistency and culture.

All employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.

Qualifications and experience
• Experience in senior leadership and literacy/English curriculum development (as per original description).
• Proven track record as an outstanding classroom practitioner and leader with strong pedagogy and culture-building capability.
