Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 3 student in the DT8 area, delivering English and Maths for 6 hours per week. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping young people re-engage with education and build confidence in their learning.
✨ The Role
As a Tutor, you will:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, tailored sessions for a Year 3 learner.
Monitor, assess and report on weekly student progress.
Provide patient, compassionate and structured support.
Be adaptable, organised and creative in your teaching.
Record attendance and maintain clear documentation.
✨ About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a nurturing, caring and patient nature.
Understands the Primary National Curriculum (English & Maths essential).
Has experience supporting learners with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
Is organised, dependable and able to build positive relationships.
Holds at least 1 year of experience working in UK schools (essential).

✔️ Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
Have the right to work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply).
Provide references when requested.
