Engineering Resource Manager
Nottinghamshire (NG11)
A leading engineering consultancy in the energy sector is looking for an Engineering Resource Manager to manage resource planning, scheduling and workload allocation across multiple engineering teams. You’ll ensure projects are properly resourced, deadlines are achievable and delivery performance remains strong.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple projects
2. Manage project schedules and capacity planning
3. Track utilisation and support forecasting
4. Maintain planning tools and ensure accurate data
5. Work closely with Team Leads and Directors to support delivery
6. Identify improvements to planning and resourcing processes
About You
7. 5+ years in resource management, project management or portfolio management
8. Experience in engineering, utilities or energy environments
9. Highly organised, analytical and adaptable
10. Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a matrix structure
Skills & Qualifications
11. Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or similar
12. Strong Microsoft Project and ERP experience
13. Advanced Excel skills
14. PRINCE2, APM PMQ/PPQ or similar certification
