A well-established and reputable law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team in their office located between Pontefract and Doncaster.
This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience in a similar role to develop their career within a supportive and structured environment.
The role:
1. Processing tasks using digital dictation (BigHand)
2. Using a case management system
3. Requesting searches, carrying out AML checks and submitting Land Registry applications
4. Handling telephone calls and dealing with enquiries from clients and third parties
5. Managing incoming emails, post and scanning, and responding to correspondence as appropriate
6. Supporting fee earners with day-to-day tasks across the department
7. Assisting with file opening and closing
About you:
8. Ideally some experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role
9. Strong organisational and communication skills
10. Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment
11. A proactive and team-focused approach
