We have an exciting opportunity to join as a Multi- Property HR Coordinator. This role will be based from Edinburgh looking after 3 hotels: Residence Inn by Marriott Edinburgh, Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen & Courtyard by Marriott Aberdeen Airport. It is a part-time role (32 hours) based from Residence Inn Edinburgh but will involve some occasional travel to Aberdeen.

Ideally you will have experience in people management and already have an understanding of all aspects of the HR process.

As HR Coordinator you will:

1. Assist and support management with handling and resolving Human Resources issues and strategy.
2. Assist employees with requests and procedures. Lead and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
3. Coordinate and conduct applicant background checks.
4. Complete end to end recruitment processes and projects whilst managing recruitment budget effectively.
5. Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into HR Systems.
6. Assist with orientation of new employees and other training responsibilities.
7. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (., interview documents,).
8. Lead and advise on Employee Relation issues.
9. Assist in creation and implementation of policy and procedure.
10. Carry out change management duties and assist with reward and recognition.

11. Great Customer Service Skills - Must enjoy interaction, be able to anticipate associate needs and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
12. Build key relationships with all hotel associates to ensure expectations are met/exceeded at all times.
13. Must be a Team Player – Demonstrate experience of building positive working relationships and promoting team spirit.
14. Essential Computer Skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is essential and the ability to manage an inbox and busy to do list.
