The aim of all youth work is to provide opportunities for young people, both individually and collectively, to make informed choices regarding the issues, which govern their lives, and to provide support and opportunities for young people to develop strategies and structures to directly manage and control these issues. If you feel you have the experience and knowledge required, then we would like to hear from you. Youth work is mainly delivered in the evenings, and the successful applicant will be required to regularly work at least 3 evenings and occasional weekends. These roles will be focused on providing additional capacity to provide targeted support to vulnerable young people and youth work teams, strengthening relationships with partners and assisting with the Oldbury Families First Pilot. The main focus of the work is developing relationships with young people and providing mechanisms for young people to develop relationships with other young people and, where appropriate, adults to help them address the issues affecting their lives.
