We’re recruiting for a Expense Accountant - Group Protection (12 months maternity cover) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

We’re looking for an Expense Analyst to join our Group Protection Finance team, where you’ll play a key role in helping us meet our financial targets through insightful analysis and proactive financial support. What you'll be doing:
* Producing monthly and quarterly reports to support senior management decision-making
* Managing reconciliation and analysis of Insurance MER data and expense forecasts
* Supporting the development and tracking of business cases and investment portfolios
* Monitoring monthly spend and processing accruals across cost centres
* Providing accurate and timely information for quarterly forecasts
* Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
* Assisting managers and executives in understanding financial perspectives
* Supporting fair customer outcomes through effective finance processes and systems
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Ideally part-qualified accountant with strong analytical skills
* Good understanding of financial services and UK life insurance regulations
* Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and expense tracking
* Advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases, and financial modelling tools
* Ability to communicate clearly and influence across all levels
* Strong judgement and analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt to change
* Commitment to ethical standards and customer fairness
