Brightwork are delighted to be partnering with a leading global premium consumer brand business to recruit a Payroll and Reward Advisor to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering operational excellence across payroll, pensions, and benefits in a complex, international environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Reward Operations Manager, you will support the delivery of Payroll and Reward operations in the UK and internationally. You will oversee day-to-day payroll governance, contribute to reward initiatives, and ensure robust compliance across employment tax and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day payroll delivery, ensuring robust controls and governance
Manage payroll approvals and support global payroll best practice initiatives
Partner with HR, Finance, Risk, and external providers to deliver seamless reward operations
Oversee UK pensions and benefits administration, including renewals and payroll integration
Lead statutory reporting (including P11D and PSA) and act as SME for audits
Support annual salary and bonus review cycles
Maintain and enhance reward procedures and ensure data integrity across HR systems
Provide guidance to junior team members and act as key contact for employee reward queries
Liaise with HMRC and ensure compliance with UK employment tax regulations
About You
2+ years' experience in Reward or Payroll
Strong knowledge of UK payroll, employment taxes, and compliance
Experience with payroll and HR systems (ADP advantageous; SAP/SuccessFactors beneficial)
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Organised, proactive, and confident managing stakeholders and deadlines
Professional, solutions-focused, and discreet
CIPP qualification desirable
